The Professional Review follows your registration and pass in the examination in Company Direction. an application for the Professional Review will not be considered until you have completed these stages.
Applicants for Chartered Director must demonstrate that they have at least three years' experience as a director. (This is five years where an applicant does not qualify with a recognised degree or professional qualification.)

This final stage is normally completed within one to two months of passing the examination and on completion you will receive a decision on your election to Chartered Director.
The Portfolio includes a record of your employment history as a director, together with certain information about the boards on which you have served, and a written self-assessment of your experience. The Portfolio should explain clearly the precise position you have occupied in each case.
Candidates for admission to the profession of Chartered Director are interviewed by two interviewers.
The purpose of the interview is to obtain further information about your experience and contribution as a director, as outlined in your Portfolio of Experience.
